Combo Counter Bore Drills

Shenoy Engineering Pvt Ltd, known for innovating tooling concepts, has developed a Combination Tool – single tool which can do counter boring, after drilling in the same go, without the need of changing the tool, after drilling. The tool comes with either HSS or carbide drills. The counter bore is done by standard indexable carbide inserts. Counter boring or spot facing of holes after drilling requires tool change. Changing of the tool after drilling each hole means tedious and& time consuming affair. The Combo Counter Bore Tool is essentially a custom-built tool. The holding shank of the combo tool can be either taper or straight, as required by the customer. The drills are located into combo tool through an arrangement, which is similar to the side lock holding arrangement. The drills are with straight holding shank. The combo tool is an economical and faster option. It considerably saves the time on tool change and saves on expensive machine time.
