Cnc Horizontal Boring & Milling Machine

Batliboi offers a CNC machine with spindle dia of 100 mm useful for machining of small-to-medium size flat or box-shaped components that need drilling, reaming, tapping, boring, milling, facing and similar operations in workshops involved in job-work, or manufacture of gearbox, pump-housings, machine tools, jigs and fixtures, and materials handling equipment. Programmes stored in memory of the machine-control or on floppies can be called back for repetitive production of small batches of components. Electronic alignment simplifies setting and saves considerable amount of unproductive time resulting in high productivity. The machine is manufactured by TOS-Varnsdorf of Czech Republic traditionally well known for rigid mechanical structure and simple but sturdy modern design and high precision. Siemens AC feed-drives and electric switchgear, etc, from world-famous manufacturers further enhance reliability of the system. A user-friendly CNC controller from Heidenhain hardly requires any specialised training for operation or programming of the machine. Independent servo-drives permit linear, helical and circular interpolation. X, Y, Z and W-axes are controlled. Automatic table-positioning with least count of 0.001 degree (B) and spindle-speed (C) control are provided. Also possible are spindle-orientation and rigid-tapping. A powerfule 20/19 kW main motor permits high material removal. Maximum permissible weight of workpiece is 3,000 kg. The traverses are X = 1,250 mm, Y = 1,120 mm and Z = 940 mm with spindle-out W = 630 mm. Sales and service are provided by Batliboi Ltd.
