Precitec Precision Machineries (P) Ltd offers Sarva, a unique in-situ CNC Boring, Facing and Drilling Machine. This portable machine with flexible and versatile construction is virtually suitable for any kind of machining ‘in-situ’ rather than moving the job to the machine. Sarva, true to its meaning – 'Omni' in Sanskrit, is a shop-manager's favourite for various machining operations. The machine's construction is like a moving column milling/boring machine. Apart from 3 basic linear axes the additional 2 or 4 rotary tilting axes enables it to reach any corner of the job. Thanks to its rigid ram, it can perform operations like boring a 900 mm dia bore, milling, interpolated profile milling, taper bores, facing operations, etc. 'In-situ' just like a fixed machine tool – attachments like boring and facing heads, right angle and universal milling heads, etc., make Sarva a highly versatile machine. Sarva is also offered in CNC version making it the most versatile. Advantages: machine being portable can be easily positioned in alignment to job; gets aligned quickly with the job in any plane/angle, etc; machining is carried out directly at job location; multiple operations like drilling, milling, boring facing are performed in one set-up; can reach wide area and corners in same set-up; nozzle cutouts are machined with jobs kept on tank rotators suitable angular positions; and easily adaptable for special machining set-ups like rotary milling/drilling operations in conjunction with rotary tables.
