Boring Machine, Horizontal

Karam brand high precision horizontal boring machines are widely used for machining bores in various types of gearboxes, machine bodies, for surface milling and also for large dia flange facing. With spindle sizes of 65, 80, 100, 110, 125 and 150 mm, these are recommended for all classes of work. The design of the machine is a guarantee of stiffness, accuracy and large output. All the raw materials used in the manufacturing processes are always the best available in the market which make the machines highly durable. The geometrical accuracy of the machine conforms to Dr Schlesinger's Acceptance Test Chart. All traverses of X, Y and Z-axis of the machine as well circular movement of the worktable are provided with automatic feeds and rapid travels. The machine can be supplied with of without 3-axis DRO system, 5-micron resolution, and magnetic scale with DRO for precise indexing of rotary worktable, flame hardened machine bed, 2.5 mm thick Turcite-B linings and extended traverses. Besides conventional table type horizontal boring machines, the company has also developed CNC version of horizontal boring machines and floor type horizontal boring machines. Special attachments like threading, milling and taper boring attachments permit to perform multi-operations on a single machine.
