Mec Shot Blasting Equipments offers an Airless Shot Peening Machine for Automotive Components with four pairs of satellites for crown wheel and pinion. The company has been assisting automobile industries in India and abroad by supplying the required shot peening/blasting machines. To ensure the life guarantee of products in automobile industries, peening is a technology applied to increase the fatigue life of the automotive components like crown wheels and pinions, gears and axles, crank shafts and connecting rods, suspensions and springs, valves and cams, etc., by increasing the residual compressive strength of such components. These automotive components are fixed with the help of specific designed fixture on suitable number of pairs of satellites on indexing turntable depending upon the production output. To ensure the required peening intensity, constant abrasive flow, accurate size and purity of the abrasive and predetermined period of abrasive throughput on the targeted surface are the prime basic parameters. The process is controlled by providing online pneumatic operated abrasive replenishing system, ensuring the abrasive supply without striving the blast wheels. An electromagnetic magnetic valve regulates the abrasive flow to required accuracy, a vibratory screening system ensures the abrasive size, and reversing compressed air operated pleated bag cleaning dust collection system ensures abrasive purity. The rotor of blast wheel assembly unit propels the abrasive down the rotating satellites. The spent abrasive from perforated tabletop falls into hopper of the cabinet. The usable abrasive is transferred into the storage hopper by bucket elevator recovery system for re-circulation purpose. The abrasive from the storage hopper are transferred into blast wheel unit through Soundabrator feed valve to reduce the noise level. The pleated bag type dust collector collects the dust through side and the dust air passes into a settling and equalising compartment. The clean air passes through the filter element tubes and clean air is exhausted through the blower. At certain interval the row by row tubes are cleaned through reverse pulse jet action remove the accumulated dust from outside wall of the filter bags.
