Centrifugal Blast Cleaning Machines

Synco designs and manufactures centrifugal blast cleaning machines. While abrasives are axially fed in the blast wheel through impeller, their flow pattern and direction of flow are controlled by the control cage. A self compensating, electronically controlled shot feed unit provides accurate and uniform flow rate of abrasives which is of considerable importance in shot peening operation. Hinged baffle type abrasive separator with air washing arrangement has multiple advantages, namely: to remove sand, scale, impediment and spent abrasive fines; to control the sizing of the abrasives; and to control the abrasive consumption rates. Suitably designed elevator and conveyor provide continuous and uninterrupted flow of abrasives. While smaller jobs in batches are conveniently handled using rotary barrel and reverse belt tumbling barrel, continuous belt is used for higher production rate. Rotary table, monorail conveyor with hanger, shuttle car type arrangement, swing table, etc, with different degrees of automation are used for continuous blasting of small to large jobs.
