HBL Power Systems Limited has introduced OPTIMUZTM, a reliable, safe and high quality sealed maintenance free (SMF) battery range for UPS applications, using state-of-the-art HD grids with high purity specialized alloy using valve regulated lead acid (VRLA) technology. OPTIMUZ batteries are designed to suit long and frequent power failures. Superior features and benefits include: 1. PPCP containers with low permeability to ensure that there is no water loss; 2. Design reinforcements to ensure operational ease in higher ambient zones; 3. High compression AGM separator for greater than 98% recombination efficiency; 4. Low internal resistance for high rate discharge performance; 5. New alloy mix for fast charge capability; 6. Low self-discharge, long shelf life; 7. Copper alloy terminals for better electrical conductivity; and 8. OPTIMUZ battery models – OPTI 7, 12, 17, 26, 42, 65, 75, 100, 120, 150 and 200 AH.
