K B Electronics offers DC UPS systems for Electronic Loads in Telecom/Railways. Normally all electronic loads like computers, monitors, routers, modems, etc., have SMPS at input. Therefore these units can accept 230 V AC or effective DC voltage of 300 V DC as input. Using this fact, the company has developed DC-UPS for telecom/railways application where they have DC bus of 48 V running in the system. This DC-UPS will ensure that the system load will work uninterruptedly as the 48 V DC is from battery. This is reliable, efficient and cost effective as compared to 48 V inverter based UPS.
- Input: 48 V DC (40-65 V) from battery
- Output: 300 V DC (corresponding to 230 V AC) 500 W for electronic loads where generally 230 V AC is supplied as input
- This is suitable for loads which have SMPS at input
- Protections: Short circuit, overload and over voltage
