Features of the welding rectifier: sturdy and proven construction to withstand extra ordinary welding currents; fully thyristorised full wave, automatic current stabilisation offers finger touch control (10 A to rated current); smooth arc; high efficiency makes no load losses and input current very low; low noise cooling fan (permanent lubrication); modular design of PCB; and plug in systems reduces down time. These PCBs are placed in additional steel enclosure for protection and special designed outer casing treatment, which allows exposure to any offshore climatic condition. Advantages: 33% power saving, India's first lowest power consumption welding rectifier, fully thyristorised, 100% copper wound/CRGO lamination/H class lamination, most reliable in comparison to an imported machine; no spares scarcity, maintenance free so low maintenance cost, special knob to adjust current, remote/hot start/25 yards cable; and the current remains constant even if the arc length varies from 0-6 mm. Protection class IP 22-23: This is latest insulation class in the international standards which is in use only in inverter based welding equipment and first time introduced in India by MEMCO, and hot start facility to get additional current for a short period to re-melt the craters from the previous electrode avoiding slag inclusion.
