Advantages: 33% power saving, India's first lowest power consumption welding rectifier; fully thyristorised, 100% copper wound/CRGO lamination/H class lamination; most reliable in comparison to an imported machine; no spares scarcity, maintenance free so low maintenance cost; special knob to adjust current, remote/hot start/25 yards cable; the current remains constant even if the arc length varies from 0-6 mm; protection class – IP 22-23 (this is latest insulation class in the international standards which is in use only in inverter based welding equipment and for the first time introduced in India by MEMCO); and hot start facility to get additional current for a short period to re-melt the craters from the previous electrode avoiding slag inclusion.
