Digital Delstar Convertor “ADLS” is a power and energy saver, which can save a lot of energy without sacrificing efficiency of a system. “ALDS” is a automatic Delstar converter, which switches the motor to star mode when the load is less than 50% and when the load increases beyond 50% it automatically switches the motor to operate in the delta mode. The digital display continuously indicates the actual current consumed. In the star mode the current consumption drops to 1/3rd there by saving a lot of energy. Any industry using a star delta motor with load variations can use this device and save energy. ADLS is a common unit that can be used with any capacity of motor by choosing appropriate current transformers. Savings made can be calculated, verified and monitored with in-built star and delta hourmeter. Indirect savings include reduction in maximum demand, reduction in kVA, improvement in power factor, etc. With these savings the payback period is just 1-6 months depending on the HP and load variations on the motor. ADLS can be fixed with on existing starter and motor configurations.
