Dropco Multilub Systems have designed and manufactured radial lubricators. These are best suited for machines where continuous or intermittent high pressure grease/oil is required for individual lubrication point. They are mainly used for centralised lubrication of rolling mills, calendering machines, sugar mills, cement plants, hydro turbines, stone crushers, forging hammers, steel mills, heavy duty press tools and machines, mining machinery, earth moving equipments, etc. The lubricator is meant to discharge metered amount of oil/grease from different plunger pumps incorporated in a common body, each plunger pump to deliver oil/grease at a high pressure (max 250 kg/cm2) to the respective lubrication points independently. These type of lubricators are fitted on the machines suitably and are connected to the lubrication points by means of welded/seamless steel tubes, rubber hoses and compression type fittings and clamps. The system is used for continuous as well as intermittent lubrication. For the system to run intermittently, cycle timers are used. The lubricator consists of a single pumping station having a number of pumping units placed radially and fitted on to the outer periphery of the housing. The pluuger of each pumping unit is given a reciprocating motion with the help of a cam. The cam itself rotates at a suitable RPM with the help of an electric motor and a gear box. For grease lubricator a deflector/stirrer also rotates with the cam. This helps in operating positive suction of grease and minimise air trapping. Two standard models are available with reservoir capacity of 5 and 15 litres and number of outlets 6 and 10, respectively. The number of outlets and reservoir capacity can also be provided as per customers' requirement.
