Centralised Dual Line Lubrication System

Skey Products manufactures Lubomatic range of Centralised Dual Line Lubrication Systems for sugar mill bearings. The system consists of following components: a very highly reliable reciprocating plunger type pump, driven by a geared motor, with high discharge pressure; a continuous duty electric geared motor – TEFC squirrel cage induction motor suitable for 415 V AC, 3-phase, 50 Hz, AC supply as per IS 325 with class B insulation; a reservoir is of 50 ltr capacity, with oil level indication switch; changeover valve – hydraulically/electrically operated, to switch from lines 1 and 2; two electric control panels; pressure switch; relief valve; and pipes and fittings. The system basically consists of a reservoir with built-in reciprocating plunger pump immersed in the oil, change over valve, dose feeders (dual line metering elements ) pressure switch, pipes, hose pipes, fittings electrical control panel, etc. There are two main lines of 16 OD, which run parallel to the sugar crushing mill tandem. From these two main lines, 10 OD pipes are connected to inlet of dose feeders and the outlet of the dose feeders are connected to the lubrication points (bearings). The valve is hydraulically/electrically operated when the pump is switched On the line 1 is connected and the pressure goes on increasing and when it reaches set high pressure all the points are lubricated as the valve moves forward the line gets blocked and the pressure goes on increasing and line changes to No. 2 line this goes on repeating. The dwell time is adjusted as per requirement and after set dwell time the cycle goes on repeating. The discharge of oil can be controlled by: a. Increasing or decreasing the pause time; and b. By the regulating screw fitted on the dose feeder indicating pin.
