Y Strainers

"Y" strainers from Bhatia Engg are the most commonly used strainers in pipe lines for preventive maintenance and filtration. These are designed in a very streamflow flow design for low pressure drop and are provided with a large screen area for bigger amount of debris collection. These are available in a variety of materials like CI, CS, SS, GM, bronze, cast alloys, forged steel, etc, to suit the different requirements. Other salient features are: compact but full flow design; service in pipe line to protect meters, pumps, traps and other mechanical equipment available in size 10 mm and above; and, end connection in screwed and flanged type. The screens are available in a variety of materials like SS, brass and Monel metal with perforated sheet or perforated sheet lined with wire mesh, to suit the customer requirements.
