Water Filter

Hydax Hydraulics offers Water Filter. It is available with glass filter/ epoxy bonded outer layers and pressure tested up to 20 kg/cm2. It is available in tie-rod or bolt and nut flanged versions, and all internal components are of food grade material. There are 11/2 BSP and 2" BSP connections for the 3-element and 6-element housings respectively. The inlet and outlet are both from the bottom of the housing. A suitable pressure gauge port and vent port is provided on the top flange. These filters can accommodate standard 62 mm OD double open ended elements. Optional housings tested to 40 kg/cm2 also available. These housings are lighter and made of fibre-reinforced plastic (FRP). They are suitable for flow rates up to 900 LPM and for temperatures up to 50ºC. They are rated for a working pressure of 10 kg/cm2 and are tested to withstand 20 kg/cm2. A provision for an air vent and installing a pressure gauge has been made. These housings are made in various sizes to accommodate cartridge filters from 10" to 40" of both double open-ended and O-ring configurations. The design of cartridge filter housings provides for easy disassembly to clean and change the cartridges.
