Strainers/filters, model S-II

Bhatia Engineering Company, a Delhi-based organisation manufactures simplex strainers/filters, model S-II. These are compact in design and are used as preventive measure for the equipment in the line, mainly instrumentation such as flow meters, valves, pressure and temperature measuring instruments, turbines pumps, and in oil, water and other chemical lines. These compact design filters have low holding capacity but very effective for filtration up to 25 micron. The body of the product with stream flow design is made of close grained cast iron, cast steel, stainless steel and gun metal as per temperature, pressure and liquid requirements. The cover is fixed with the help of hinged bolts and nuts for easy removal of basket and quick cleaning. The rigid-design filtering element is made of perforated stainless steel backing sheet and wire mesh for filtration gives sturdiness and low-pressure drop. It is kept in position with the help of spring assembly to avoid by pass of fluid.
