Strainers/filters, model s-ii

Bhatia Engineering Company offers Simplex strainers/filters, Model S-II. These are compact in design and are used as preventive measure for the equipment in the line, mainly instrumentation such as flow meters, valves, pressure and temperature measuring instruments, turbines pumps, etc, in oil, water and other chemical lines. The model is of compact design hence holding capacity is low but very effective for filtration up to 25 micron. Construction: the body is of stream flow design with close grained cast iron, cast steel, stainless steel, gun metal, etc, as per temperature, pressure and liquid requirements. The cover is fixed with the help of hinged bolts and nuts for easy removal of basket and quick cleaning. Element is of rigid design in stainless steel construction perforated backing sheet and wire mesh for filtration is used to give sturdiness and low pressure drop. It is kept in position with the help of spring assembly to avoid by pass of fluid.
