Simplex Strainers

Strainwell Model S-III Strainers are recommended for batch operation where rough straining of liquid is required and amount of debris is small. They are of simplex design with angle type stainless steel -cylindrical basket cover fixed in position with high tensile nuts and bolts and gaskets, for easy basket removal. They can be hanged in position in the pipeline as they are light in weight and compact in design. They are best suited for preventive installation in pipelines where protection to pumps and nozzles is required. These are available in body made of closed grained cast iron, cast steel, bronze or stainless steel. Flanges are drilled to the customers' specifications. Recommended areas of use are fire fighting installations, air-conditioning and cooling systems, and recirculating water and oil systems in projects and machines. These are available in 150# and 300# flanges or to suit the customers' requirements.
