Simplex Filters

Bhatia Engg Co offers filters/ strainers for use in pipe lines and on the suction and discharge side of pumps for filtering liquids like water, lubricating oil, fuel oil, molasses, etc. The filter body is designed to meet the regulations for a particular range of pressure. The streamlined body of the filter causes a smooth flow of the fluid resulting in minimum pressure drop. The element is designed with appropriate perforations and filtering ratio to suit the fluid to be filtered and to give lower pressure drop with an appropriate safety factor for the differential pressure quoted on the filter's name plate. These single filters are used where the plant or the filter can be isolated by means of stop valves for cleaning the filter elements. Flanges are drilled as per DIN-ND or ND 16. These are available in sizes from 20 mm to 1600 mm and above and in pressure rating of 10, 16, 20 and 40 kg/cm?. Fuel and lubricating oil filters are also supplied with steam heating oil inside the filter body or with steam jacketing. Filters can also be incorporated with magnetic elements to trap the magnetic particles in the oil.
