Self Cleaning Filter is used for continuous unattended filtration.
- The filtration system is installed on the discharge of the pump for on line filtration, and the contaminated liquid flows through these filters, in series
- The dirt particles are retained on the outer surface of the filter media and the clear liquid flows through
- As the retention of dirt increases on the media surface the pressure drop increases across the filter, and at predetermined differential pressure the filter media approaches 'dirty condition'
- The system basically consists of multi element filters in series, which are specifically designed.
