Sand Bed Filter

Sand Filtration gives a simple technique of water filtering down through a bed of sand and any solid particles like debris and dirt are trapped in the sand. The water enters the series of sand bed filter and is pored to the top of the filter and distributed on a bed of sand. Filtered water then exits through laterals at the bottom of the filter and the trapped dirt in the sand is removed via periodic backwashing and infrequent sand replacement.
