Ell Ess Engineering offers On-line Filter. Almost every industry that processes liquids employs on-line filters. It is essential to have on-line filters to remove the contaminants from the liquids at every stage and ensure quality of the end product. These filters are available in various versions to suit individual needs. The external gasketing design prevents solids from I by-passing the filters. There are no O-rings that may collapse or cartridge that can break leading to by-passing of unfiltered liquids. The filter elements are rugged and reusable. In duo models individual filters can be shut off and cleaned while the others continue filtering. Hence, the filters give continuous service without interruption. The speciality of the filter is the quick acting couplers which eliminate the necessity for cumbersome bolts and nuts to assemble the parts and the body together. Consequently, the necessity for tools such as spanners are eliminated. The filter can be be dismantled or assembled within a matter of minutes. Advantages are: the filter elements can be used again and again after cleaning. Space occupied is a fraction of other conventional on-line filters. The flow rate of the liquid to be filtered is achieved by adding or subtracting the number of units to suit the individual requirements. The other conventional line filters, in course of time, are used as pipe connections only as it is cumbersome to open out and clean them, on account of the bolting system. In EEE's model the quick coupling cum lock system is specially designed to overcome this defect. Single filters are piped directly into systems requiring batch or intermittent service. The candle can be removed, cleaned and refitted in minutes. Duo filters which are two single filters connected in parallel are employed for continuous filtration. In this arrangement when one filter is in service, the other can be taken up for cleaning.
