FILTERS/STRAINERS, DUPLEX UNIT

Bhatia Engineering Company offers the Strainwell duplex filter, intended for cleaning the element without shutting down the plant or without stopping the flow of fluid through the pipelines. The unit consists of two filters connected in parallel through a two way, double changeover cock in a single body which allows simultaneous changeover of inlet and outlet from one filter to the other without pressure shock. The streamlined body is of cast iron or cast steel construction. Vent cocks and face sealing type forged brass drain plugs are provided for each compartment. The cover is tightened with swings bolts and wing nuts or fixed in position with studs and nuts. The element is of stainless steel wire mesh construction duly strengthened for rigidity. The filter is available in sizes ranging from 20 to 400 mm and with pressure ratings of 10,16 and 20 kg/cm?. Strainers for special applications and for higher pressure ratings and in bigger sizes are made as per customers specifications.
