Filters – Self-Cleaning, Motorised

Motorised self-cleaning filters are used for water application. The element is provided with a backwash arm. When elements get choked, the differential pressure switch across the inlet/outlet gives a signal to top motor and drain gets opened simultaneously. The part of clean liquid goes in reverse direction and cleans the element. The amount of back wash fluid is around 3 to 5% of inlet flow. This is suitable for design where continuous flow is required. It is supplied with control panel, motor, actuated drain valve, etc. These filters are suitable where high volume is required and opening/removing out the element for cleaning is cumbersome, like cooling water applications.
