Basket/y-type strainer

Chemical & Industrial Engineers manufactures a wide range of basket strainers, which finds application in process and chemical industries for filtration purpose. Rigid in construction full port filter elements are features of these strainers, both in Y-type as well as basket type. The sizes offered are from 1/4" to 2" in screwed and 1" to 12" in flanged connection in ASA-150#, 300#, 600# and 900# ratings. Full port and sloped to 45? C reduces the pressure drop and bolted cover with drain plug. For special application bleed valve is provided which remains attached to the body. Flange connections conform to BS, ANSI, PN-10, 16, DIN, JIS and IS specifications. Filtering elements are rigid in construction and appropriate mesh is selected and used as per the micron sizes.
