Auto Back Wash Twin Element Filters

Auto back wash twin element filters consist of a bank of specially designed filter elements. These elements are of slotted screen design, which are self-cleaning in nature and can be designed for high pressures, handling various types of solids. Elements are back washed based on fixed time cycles or pressure drop build up. The backwash cycle operates sequentially cleaning one pair of elements at a time and covers all the elements in a cycle. This ensures uninterrupted filtered liquid supply at all times. Backwash is done with either filtered fluid or any other fluid, which are admitted in the reverse direction through on/off valves.
