Valves, Flush Bottom

PEC offers Y-type flush bottom valves for liquids containing highly abrasive slurries, highly viscous or any other type of problematic nature, which conventional valves cannot handle. These are manufactured in two designs: inside vessel opening - in this design, valves disc goes into the vessel when it opens; and inside valve opening - in this design, valve disc goes into the valve body when it opens. The cavity between valve disc and bottom of the vessel is eliminated to avoid or minimize settling or solidification of the liquid into the valve barrel. These are available in stainless steel, carbon steel, or other alloys to suit clients' applications. Seat and disc with stelliting are also provided if necessary. Manually operated, hydraulically operated, gear operated or pneumatically operated arrangement is provided. End connections conform to ANSI, BS, DIN or national or international standards.
