Strainers

Strainers are manufactured in various types, viz., Y type, T type, basket type, duplex basket type and conical type. A filter element is housed inside casing, which filters solid particles from liquid or air. Filter elements are normally made of wire mesh supported with perforated sheet. Elements can be supplied for fine filtration up to 20 microns. The filter housing is available in fabricated or cast material like CI/CS/SS-304, 316, 316L/monel/hastalloy/CSRL/PP/PVC/FRP and elements in SS-304, 316, 316L/monel, brass, bronze, PP or any other materials depending on design specifications and requirements of customers. Sizes vary from ?? to 2? in BSP/NPT/SW connections and 15 mm NB to 2000 mm NB for flanged connection. Pressure ratings are available from 150 lbs to 6000 lbs rating depending on type of filter or strainers required for different applications. Free flow area varies from 1.5 times to 10 times depending on specific requirements.
