Stem Stop Valve, Bronze Extra Heavy Globe

`Boss' bronze extra heavy globe steam stop valve come with a screwed bonnet, inside screw, rising stem, with back seat having renewable stainless steel AISI-410 seats and stem. The screwed female ends are BSP taper or flanged ends to BS-10 table H. These valves are hand wheel operated, suitable for saturated steam lines up to 250 PSIg (17.58 kg/cm2g) and maximum temperature of 428°F (220°C), and tested to 500 PSIg 35.15 kg/cm2g) hydraulic pressure. Salient features: back seat arrangement is provided to facilitate on line replacement of gland packing under pressure when valve is full open; bonnet is locked for safety of operating staff; the valve disc and check nut are locked by a SS (AISI 304) locking washer; the body seat ring and disc are properly heat treated with at least 50 BHN difference; and heavy and sturdy hand wheel with firm grip and for easy operation. Testing and certification: all valves are tested hydrostatically at double the maximum working pressure and on steam at maximum working pressure. E
