Boss bronze sleeve packed water level gauge comes with screwed male ends to BSP taper threads or flanged ends to BS-10 table `H’ and with automatic shut off in the water arm. This is suitable for 250 PSIG (17.58 kg/cm2g) maximum BOP and temperature up to 428°F (220°C). It is tested to 500 PSIG (35.15 kg/cm2g). Salient features: each cock is fitted with a self adjusting inverted taper plug which forms a seal in a renewable moulded asbestos sleeve; the sleeve can be easily positioned in the cock by a rib which fits a corresponding groove in the body; the sleeve is reinforced by metallic eyelets to avoid clogging of the passage; a stainless steel (AISI-304) ball in the water arm cuts off water supply in the event of breakage of glass tube; and glass tubes are fitted with replaceable rubber cones to attain a leak tight joint. Testing and certification: all water levels gauges are tested hydrostatically at double the maximum working pressure and on steam at maximum working pressure. Each gauge is supplied with IBR
