Gate Valves

The slab Gate valve is simple in design yet rugged and efficient in performance. The Slab Gate design utilizes two floating seats of hardened steel with PTFE inert in its face, which are pressure energized, moving the upstream seat in contact with the Gate and subsequent application of the line pressure to the Valve brings about a tight and complete seal with both the upstream and downstream. The Expanding Gate design is versatile in that in provides a mechanical seal between the seats and the gate ensuring valve integrity at both high and low line pressure. The Expanding Gate Valve does not rely on line pressure to seal and is recommended for applications when a tight mechanical seal is required. Emergency Seat Sealant Injection System To Provide A Fast Simple Way Of Restoring Tight Shut-Off, Used When Any Foreign Object Should Damage The Sealing Surface Repacking Under Pressure.
