L'acier Swing Check Valve is a robust design which incorporates all of the desirable features proven to provide long life and trouble free operation. Designed, manufactured, tested and monogrammed in accordance with API 6D requirements. Fire tested and qualified to API 6FD requirements. L'acier range of non-return valves are suitable for oil, gas, water, refining, power and chemical applications where the prevention of flow reversal is mandatory. Swing Check Valves are full bore valves. The full bore to API-6D assures unrestricted flow and allows pigging and hot tapping. Swing check valves designed for horizontal installations are extensively used for moderate velocity operations. It can even be installed in vertical direction with flow in upward direction under the disc. These heavy duty, bolted cover, renewable seat ring, and body mounted disc swing type valves are highly acclaimed. Proper support of the valve and/or pipe should be provided to eliminate end strain and fatigue of end connections. Operating temperature should not exceed 2500 deg F continuously on standard check valves. Horizontal installation is standard and the inlet and outlet should be the same level for proper clapper action.
