Flush Bottom Valves

For liquids containing highly abrasive slurries, highly viscous or any other type of problematic nature, which conventional valves cannot handle, PEC has developed Y-type flush bottom valves. They are manufactured in two different designs: (1) Inside vessel opening--in this design, valve disc goes into the vessel when it opens; (2) Inside valve opening--in this design, valve disc goes into the valve body when it opens. The cavity between valve disc and bottom of the vessel is eliminated to avoid or minimise settling or solidification of the liquid into the valve barrel. These valves are available in stainless steel, carbon steel, and any other alloy to suit the customers' applications. Seat and disc with stelliting can also be provided if necessary. Manually operated, gear operated, hydraulically operated or pneumatically operated arrangement can be provided. End connections can be made available to ANSI, BS, DIN or any National or International Standards.
