Cast Steel Globe Valve

Boss brand cast steel globe valve conforms to BS-5160/DIN 2401, PN-40. This is available in straight or right angle pattern, 13% Cr SS (AISI-410) trim, outside screw and yoke type, bolted bonnet, integral flanges as per BS-4504 Part I, Table 40/1/DIN 2545 PN-40. Raised face body is tested to 60 bar gauge and seat and back seat to 40 bar gauge hydraulic pressure. Salient features: stream lined full flow area is provided in the body to minimise pressure drop; bolted self aligning two piece gland; renewable SS 13% Cr (AISI-410) body seat ring and disc facing ring have at least 50 HB difference in hardness; provision of back seat to facilitate on line replacement of gland packing under pressure when valve is full open; ample depth of stuffing box; and sturdy hand wheel is provided for operation. Testing and certification: all valves are tested at double the max working pressure. Each valve is supplied with IBR test certificate in Form III-C issued by The Director of Boilers, Punjab.
