Butterfly Valve

New, low torque butterfly valve from Belimo is tremendously competitive in terms of functionality, reliability and price. Benefits: the double D pin-less stem technology, a more compact and stronger structure is realised together with many more benefits: valve disc auto-centre capability, lower torque required for turning, and 2-3 times longer life time by boot seat design. Adopting the "bubble tight sealing" ensures positive tight fit connection with the valve body and disc. It reduces the friction while the disc is turning, so that the required torque for open/close is minimised. Stringent industrial raw materials are employed in the BFV series cast iron body (DN350~300) and ductile iron body (DN350~500), stainless steel stem, nylon coated rust proof disk or stainless steel disc are all guaranteed materials for Belimo quality products. The big wide cushion seal structure suits both slip-on and weld-neck flanges. The installation is easy and convenient, and suitable for all kinds of flanges. "Tongue and Groove" boot seat design ensures the best fitting of the valve body, the seat and the disc. It meets applications like vacuum and high-pressure water with no difficulties. Pairing with Belimo advanced electrical actuator, a highly reliable and economical BFV solution is provided. Open/close life cycle over 60,000 times. Typical applications include chiller isolation, cooling tower isolation, change – over systems, large air handling coil control, and bypass and process control.
