Vacuum Sensors & Transmitters

Ace Instruments offers Vacuum Sensors & Transmitters. The Vacuum Sensors are high precision 2-wire transmitters made of stainless steel with SS 316 wetted parts. These vacuum transmitters are imported from USA and have an excellent accuracy of ±0.15 FS, and a very good long term stability. These transmitters have male threaded connection for connecting onto the vacuum systems and weatherproof connectors. The output is a 2-wire 4-20 mA signal, which is loop powered. The sensor can be easily connected to PLCs, indicators, controllers and data loggers. Since the output is a current (4-20 mA) signal, the distance between the sensor and the instrument does not contribute to any accuracy loss. Indicating and controlling instruments with built in 24 V DC for sensor excitation are readily available. A typical instrument would be the 41/2 digit digital vacuum indicator with in built transmitter excitation voltage in DIN sized panel mounting housings. Also, controllers with two set points and PID controllers with power supplies for connecting the sensors are readily available. Vacuum sensors are also available in compound ranges of -1 to +1 bar, -1 to +5 bar along with measuring and controlling instruments. Application areas would be vacuum pumps, HVAC, vacuum booster systems, vacuum ovens, vacuum generation systems, distillation columns, etc.
