Cable Float Switches

The unit consists of 3 major components: 1) PP float in which embedded micro-switch as switching 1 NO + 1 NC contacts of 8 A @ 240 V AC; 2) Three-cored cable made of synthetic rubber/PVC of different standard lengths of 2/3/5/10 mtr, directly moulded to micro-switch assembly inside the float chamber; and 3) Stabilising dead weight made of moulded PP, can be fixed at any point on the cable using “O” ring supplied along. The micro-switch assembly inside the float changes contacts according to the float’s position. Actuation is via a roller ball and micro-switch arrangement within the switch. This low-cost switch is used for a variety of applications such as control of submersible pumps. This can be used in fresh water, sea water, sewerage and industrial effluents.
