Chemical Process Pumps

San Domingos Pumps manufactures chemical process pumps conforming to ASME B73.1 M and test code of HIS. The pumps cover capacity up 3 to 90 m /hr, head up to 62 m, temperature from -210 oC to 260 oC and working pressure up to 2550 kpa. They feature maximum inter-changeability for minimum spare parts inventory, back-pull-out design for quick inspection of repair parts without disturbing electrical and piping connections, external adjustment for impeller and casing wear, standard dimensions for pump and foundation. Self-venting casing with PN20 or PN50 flanges has maximum resistance to misalignment, distortion and has 3 mm corrosion allowance. Semi-open impeller with back vanes are matched to casing for maximum efficiency and low NPSH. Casing and impeller have smooth contoured passages for best slurry and solids handling capacity. Casing and stuffing-box can be provided with jacket for heating or cooling. Stuffing-box is machined for packed arrangement and mechanical-seals. Only the casing, impeller, stuffing-box, shaft-sleeve and gland are exposed to corrosive liquid. Bearing assembly is oil lubricated with automatic level control, breather, magnetic drain-plug and optional jacket. Shaft is designed for maximum 0.05 mm deflection. The pumps have L 10 bearing life or 17,500 hrs. Base plates have drip-pan and only three sizes cover all pump sizes and applicable motor frames. Spacer type coupling is provided to take advantage of back-pull-out design. The pumps are supplied in all machinable alloys including Hast-C and Hast-B. Service range includes hydro-carbons, corrosive acids, caustic services, slurries, high temperature liquids up to 260 oC, viscous and freezing point fluids, out-door or indoor installations and continuous or intermittent service.
