The CHP, CM and CHH series pumps are multistage high pressure used in irrigation, sprinkler installations, pressure boosting, multi story buildings, hydro-pneumatic systems, water works, fire fighting, mining, boiler feed pumps, etc. Designed for better hydraulic efficiency, these pumps save on power input, and are available in sizes from 1? to 5? for a flow rate of up to 2000 LPM and a maximum head of 400 metres, suitable for hot water up to 140?C max. These pumps are vertically split suction, intermediate and discharge casings clamped together by external tie bolt and sealed with gaskets or 'O' ring as required by the design, and pumping temperature of the liquid pumped and the construction of the pump. Grease lubricated antifriction bearings are designed to meet the requirements mounted on either side. The pumps use soft graphite lubricated asbestos. The shaft is fitted with renewable shaft sleeve in the region of the stuffing box, which protects the shaft from wear due to packing. Special water-jacketed stuffing boxes, and special design of stuffing boxes with mechanical seals are available. Materials of construction: suction/delivery casings and stage casings, closed grain cast iron impellers, diffusers, sleeves, closed grain cast iron shaft and keys, stainless steel 410 clamping studs, EN-8, and special material available on request ? bronze, carbon steel, SS, alloy steel.
