Diaphragm pumps, Air operated

SMD Pumps offers air operated double diaphragm pumps manufactured by Versamatic, USA. The pumps are available with wetted parts in metals like aluminium, CI, SS, hastalloy, etc, and non-metallic materials like polypropylene, PVDF (KYNAR), etc, and diaphragms in a variety of rubbers as well as Teflon to suit almost any application. They are sealless, self-priming and can run dry against closed discharge, with negative suction, etc. They can be operated in completely submerged condition also. The unique (Patent pending) Elima-matic air valve design of Versamatic enables trouble free performance, without stalling or freezing. It is also lubrication free. The bolted design (in the place of clamped design) ensures leak proof performance, which is of great advantage while handling solvents and inflammable fluids. These pumps find application in chemical process industries, drugs and pharmaceutical plants, effluent treatment plants, food processing plants, paint industries, plating shops, pesticide plants etc. Spares are normally available ex-stock or with short delivery period. The pumps are also supplied along with suitable drum kits to make it suitable for mounting on top of barrels for transfer of fluids from barrels.
