Fully Automatic Case Packers

Rockford Midland Corporation manufactures fully automatic case packers incorporating line shaft driven design and all mechanical operations CAM controlled. The machine has tubular steel wall frame construction. Stainless steel product contact points and all other non-painted surfaces are nickel-plated. Case handling is by mechanical/vacuum mode. Flashing light is provided to indicate fault conditions. Overload clutches are given on all drive and load mechanisms. Clutches are automatically reset by jogging one revolution. Nordson hot melt adhesive system or pressure sensitive tape sealing system with 3 m tape heads ensures sealing of the cases. Allen-Bradley SLC 500 controls, touch screen operator controls with changeover procedures, diagnostic fault identification, troubleshooting guidelines, 5-15 minute changeover with positive restart, Full Lexan? guards with electrical interlocks, 8 feet long case magazine and maintenance signals are the other features that contribute to the advantages of the machine.
