Rockford Midland Corporation manufactures horizontal auto-load cartoner (Model H-100/200) designed to automatically feed, open, load product and seal the end flaps of paperboard cartons. Products can be hand loaded into article buckets or transferred by automatic handling systems. Product is pushed directly from the article buckets into the carton without going through an intermediate set of buckets or across dead plates. This ensures no product load override. Interchangeable carton hopper keeps all timing functions intact when changing carton size. Heavy duty leading and trailing lugs travel on UHMW polyethylene chain rail for smooth operation. CAM controlled product loading with no carton-no load function is offered. The machine incorporates line shaft driven by gearbox controlled flight chain, flap tuckers and loading pushers with Teflon impregnated Delrin bearings and steel shafts that do not require lubrication. Mechanical and electronic overload protection is also provided.
