Cushion Belt For Biscuit Packaging

Eternal Rubber Industries has developed a Cushion Belt for Biscuit Packaging application. It has integrally moulded polyurethane semi circular rings all along the length that provide soft cushion to delicate biscuits during packaging thus preventing damage. As compared to rubber sponge belts for the same application, the cushion belt is very long lasting being made from high grade polyurethane. The semi circular cushion rings are designed to provide a wide range of predictable pressure Vs deflection characteristic to give just the appropriate grip for conveying biscuits without damaging. The company also offers synchro-transport belts for efficient in-plant movement of products and packages. Synchro-transport belts are timing belts with integrally moulded polyurethane profiles, cleats, lugs to convey/transport products and packages as well as to assist during various stages of production right from raw material to finished product package. These are used to suit customers’ requirement of synchronised, high precision linear conveying and positive indexing in automated production and packaging machines. They find applications to: hold, push, lift, assemble, cap, wash, actuate, sort, count, print, label, transfer and package a variety of products such as pouches, bags, bottles, tins/cans, voiles, boxes, etc; and are used in production and packaging machineries in endless number of industries such as confectionaries, biscuits, chocolate, prepared foods, pharmaceutical industry- voiles, bottles, capsules, consumer goods industry – cosmetics, deodorant, soaps and detergents, personal hygiene and health care, automotive, hardware and electrical/electronic goods, textiles, paper, printing, etc. An endless variety of polyurethane profiles can be moulded to suit configuration of specific product or package. Polyurethane profiles can be moulded with metal inserts as well as holes in transverse or longitudinal direction, in a range of hardnesses from 35 to up to 95 Shore A.
