Telescopic Tubes

Siddhi Engineers an ISO 9001 – 2008 certified company manufactures Precision Drawn Aluminium tubes, rods and profiles for various critical engineering applications. One of the applications is telescopic tubes whereby one tube is inserted into another and likewise telescopic arrangements can be done for the required length. These telescopic tubes are normally used for the following applications: pneumatically operated masts, used for communication in military, defense and paramilitary establishments; and telescopic tubes up to 110 mm OD, 7 mm thickness in different lengths as per customers’ requirements from different alloys. Advantages: telescopic masts made from precision drawn aluminium tubes are more sturdy and compact; can withstand high wind velocity up to 120 km per hour; light weight; easy to operate and movable; and cost economic. Other applications are: Telescopic tubes for bomb disposal applications – normally 6061 alloy is used in different sizes for making telescopic arrangements for bomb disposal application; and for telescopes – telescopes are normally made from very costly brass tubes. Brass tubes are replaced by aluminium tubes which has following advantages: strength – drawn aluminium tubes are much stronger than brass tubes, hence longer life of equipment; light weight – approx 1/3 rd weight w.r.t brass; cost effective – more than 25% can be saved on material cost; easy availability; and anodising – different colours anodising is possible which can create beautiful look.
