Rigid Aluminium Pipe

Luthra Hydro Pneumatic Industries has unveiled yet another application for the John Guest Fittings used with the rigid Aluminium Pipe. Machinery building becomes very difficult using tedious MS/GI piping for connecting pneumatic components. Sometimes, flexible pipes are used deliberately to counter this problem, but it is only a 'desperate' measure by the manufacturer to cut down on lead time. This is a case of one machinery manufacturer making power presses. One power press uses extensive MS piping, which takes three days to cut, thread, assemble and dis-assemble (to transport the machine, they have to dis-assemble the piping). Then when the machine is installed at site, the piping has to be re-assembled. This is a painstaking and tedious task not only for the fitter, but also for the management as they all lose time, effort and energy in this task. The company managed to cut, position and assemble the same assembly using John Guest piping in three hours (instead of three days), and the machine maker was impressed. It is rightfully said, John Guest takes the 'donkey work' out of piping. Sizes available are from 12 mm to 50 mm dia of aluminium pipe with 'Push-in' fittings. For machinery manufacturers and those who use any kind of flexible/rigid pipe on machines, John Guest is the ultimate time saving and effort saving piping system.
