Medium-Pressure Gaugeable Tubes

Swagelok Company offers Medium-Pressure Gaugeable Tubes. These are suitable for alternative fuels and oil and gas industries. These provide a leak-tight gas seal and vibration resistance in applications up to 15,000 psig (1034 bar). These tubes are also available in 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 inch sizes, the all-316 stainless steel fittings come in a diverse range of fitting styles, including elbows, unions, bulkhead unions, reducing unions, tees, crosses, caps, and plugs. Advantages: easy connection to heavy-wall annealed or cold-drawn 1/8-hard stainless steel tubing; simple installation, no special tools required; fitting assembly is by one turn or torque, allowing manual or automated assembly; preassembled disposable cartridges ensure correct ferrule orientation; and patented low-temperature case hardening processing of the ferrules and nut provides enhanced performance and corrosion resistance over a wide range of applications. Medium-pressure 316/316L stainless steel tubing for use in applications up to 15,000 psig (1034) bar is available in heavy wall annealed or cold-drawn 1/8-hard condition. Tubing sizes are 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 in outside diameter, in 20 ft and 2, 4, and 6 m lengths are also available. The company also offers adapter fittings/seamless tubings.
