Powder Hose

The new Electrosmart powder hose has many advantages that it will bring to powder coating process. Electrosmart increases the charge received by the powder. Here's how: powder carried through the powder hose to spray gun gets a positive electrostatic charge due to friction between the powder and hose inner surface. Therefore although a full 100 kV negative charge has been applied at the powder gun tip, the powder gets a reduced charge as it has been already positively charged in the hose. This results in unnecessary over spray. Mitsuba’s new Electrosmart powder hose is the perfect solution to this problem. The Electrosmart hose has a conductive strip running within the hose body. The hose is earthed though an earthing contact on the powder pump.
