METAL HOSES

Witzenmann India offers Metal Hoses. It is available in two different types: stripwound hoses and corrugated hoses. Stripwound hoses are manufactured in a winding process and have an engaged or interlocked profile. They are primarily applied in machine construction, automotive industry, communication engineering and optoelectronics. Corrugated hoses are solid metal hoses with annular or helical corrugation. They are applied wherever maximum demands are made on flexibility and leakage resistance: in high pressure and vacuum applications, in the low temperature and high temperature range. Wherever movements must be absorbed, vibrations must be decoupled or rigid pipe system have to be made flexible, these flexible pipe and hose elements are applied: metal hoses, expansions joints, metal bellows, decoupling elements or semi-flexible pipe systems. From sway supports, anchors and sliding supports to flexible elements and finally to the appropriate hangers and supports for the suspension of pipe systems.
