Bharat Heavy Electricals offers Fan. This is used for boilers. This fan is a turbo machine, which delivers a particular amount volume with specified pressure of gases/air. The pressure ratio between the fan outlet and inlet is in the range of 1.2. During fan impeller rotation, energy transformation, i.e., conversion of mechanical energy to useful pressure energy takes place. The fan is classified as radial and axial fans based on the direction of fluid flow through the impeller. Depending on the direction of blade swept, radial fan is classified into backward curved, forward curved and radial tip blades. Similarly, axial fan is classified into axial impulse and axial reaction fan.
