Thermo-jet high velocity burners

Vulcan Eclipse offers eclipse thermo-jet burners which are high velocity, dual fuel and nozzle mixing burners. These are designed specifically to produce hot gases at high forward and rotational velocities. This high velocity of up to 500 mph improves air circulation within the furnace while increasing heat penetration and temperature uniformity throughout the load. The result is more consistent product quality. These burners can be operated on-ratio, or with excess air. These makes them ideally suited for a wide range of industrial applications including heat-treating, kiln firing, annealing, stress relieving and drawing and slow cooling where oxidizing conditions are desirable. The excess air capabilities of the thermo-jet makes it ideal for multi-purpose furnaces such as one operating at 1800 ?F for hardening and 1100 ?F for annealing. Thermo-Jet burners have the ability to maintain furnace temperatures up to 2500 ?F using any clean fuel gas or light oil. Maximum capacities on both gas and oil are 500,000 Btu/hr for the 84TJ-CGO and 965,000 Btu/hr for the 104TJ-CGO. Turndowns are approximately 7 to 1 on gas and 3 to 1 on oil.
